As final exams are getting closer, more students have started spending time in the university library to prepare for their courses. During the last two weeks, the library has become much busier than usual, especially in the evenings.
Many students say that the library provides a quieter and more productive environment for studying. Group study rooms and computer areas are often fully occupied during the day.
According to several students, preparing for finals has increased stress levels and study hours. Some students stay in the library until late at night in order to finish assignments and review lecture materials.
“I usually study at home, but before exams I prefer coming to the library because it helps me focus better,” said Salih Gönlü, a first-year Architecture student.
Another student, Alp Efe Yeneroğlu, said that finding an empty seat has recently become more difficult. “The library is crowded almost every evening now. Sometimes my friends and I arrive early just to find a place to sit,” he explained.
Library staff members also noticed the increase in attendance. Students continue using both printed and online materials while preparing for their final examinations.
With the exam period approaching, many students are expected to continue using the library as one of the main places for studying and academic preparation.
