Students During Examination Periods

Examination periods are considered one of the most stressful times in university life. During exams, students experience pressure, lack of sleep, and emotional stress while trying to achieve good academic results. Many students spend long hours studying, preparing presentations, and completing assignments before deadlines.

One of the biggest challenges students face during exams is time management. Balancing revision, classes, part-time jobs, and personal life becomes difficult for many young people. As a result, students often stay awake late at night to prepare for their exams.

“During exam week I usually sleep only four or five hours because I have too much material to study,” said Naima24143129 from the Faculty of Business.

Stress and anxiety are also common during examination periods. Some students worry about failing exams or not meeting expectations from their families and teachers. According to university counselors, mental health problems among students often increase during final exams.

“I always feel nervous before important exams, especially when several tests happen in the same week,” said Ali Karimov, a second-year engineering student.

Many students also say that proper support from friends and classmates helps them stay motivated during stressful days.

“Exams are always difficult, but I try to stay positive and organized. Listening to music and taking short breaks helps me focus better while studying,” said Ariana Ten 24143174, a university student.

Despite these difficulties, students try different methods to stay motivated and focused. Some prefer studying alone in libraries, while others work in groups with classmates. Coffee shops and quiet study spaces have also become popular places for exam preparation.

“Studying together with friends helps me feel less stressed because we support each other,” said Madina Yusufova from the Faculty of Media and Communication.

Teachers and universities are also trying to support students during examination periods by offering consultations, online materials, and academic workshops. Some universities additionally organize stress-management activities to help students maintain their mental well-being.

In conclusion, examination periods remain one of the most challenging parts of student life. Although students experience stress, pressure, and exhaustion, many continue working hard to achieve their academic goals and build successful futures.
