Lefke, Northern Cyprus \u2014 Cats living around the campus European University of Lefke (EUL) have become very popular among students. Many students spend time with the cats before or after classes, and some even bring food and water for them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The cats can often be seen near university buildings, cafes, dormitories, and outdoor seating areas. Students say the animals help create a calm and friendly atmosphere on campus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
one student said. \u201cThey make me feel relaxed, especially after stressful classes.\u201d Khaknazar Zaitov 4th course faculty of software engineering said . <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some students also take photos and videos of the cats and post them on social media. Others enjoy sitting with them while studying or talking with friends. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
International students say the cats help them feel less lonely while living far from home. For many students, the animals have become a small but important part of daily life at EUL. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWhen I miss home, spending a few minutes with the cats makes me feel better,\u201d Shukrona Davlatyorova 2nd course faculty of New media and communications shared. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are also student volunteers at EUL who regularly feed cats and dogs around the campus. Many students care about the animals and try to make sure they are healthy and safe. Because of this support, the animals are usually friendly and well cared for. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe volunteers do a great job,\u201d \u201cThanks to them, the animals always have food and water.\u201d Temirlan Marat 2nd course faculty of visual communication and design said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although the cats and dogs do not belong to the university, they have become an important part of campus life. Many students believe the animals make the university feel warmer, calmer, and more welcoming. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
