Libraries, cafés, and study halls on campus become crowded during this period as students spend long hours preparing for their courses.

For university students, finals week is often one of the most difficult times of the semester. Many students try to balance studying, assignments, sleep schedules, and social life at the same time. Some students say they feel mentally exhausted after weeks of preparation.

“During finals, I usually sleep less and spend most of my day studying,” said communication student Dila Çıtak. “Sometimes it becomes difficult to manage stress and stay motivated.”

Psychology experts explain that exam stress is common among university students, especially when they worry about grades and academic performance. Students who study for long hours without rest may experience anxiety, lack of concentration, and physical tiredness.

Despite these challenges, students develop different ways to cope with stress. Some prefer studying in groups, while others listen to music, take short walks, or spend time in cafés to relax. Social media also becomes a common way for students to share their experiences during finals week.

University staff members encourage students to manage their time effectively and maintain healthy routines during exams. Drinking enough water, sleeping regularly, and taking short breaks are considered important for maintaining concentration and mental health.

Campus facilities such as the library and study rooms remain open for longer hours during the exam period to support students academically. Many students believe these services help create a better study environment.

Although finals week can be stressful, students say the experience also teaches responsibility, discipline, and time management. For many students at EUL, surviving finals week has become an important part of university life.

Azra Sertbaş 23120983

By Azra Sertbaş As the spring semester comes to an end, many students at European University of Lefke are experiencing stress and pressure because of final exams, project deadlines, and …

{"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false

1

post-333","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
