Architecture Students Transform Creativity into Celebration at EUL Christmas Forest<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On December 18, the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the European University of Lefke hosted a festive and imaginative event titled \u201cChristmas Forest,\u201d bringing together students, faculty members, and guests to celebrate the holiday season through design and collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Architecture and design students worked enthusiastically to create a unique forest-like installation using materials commonly found in their academic projects. Cardboard, model-making supplies, structural elements, and design tools were transformed into creative holiday-themed structures. As visitors walked through the display, many paused to admire the details and take photos. \u201cIt\u2019s amazing how simple materials can turn into something so festive,\u201d said Sara M., an architecture student who participated in the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event aimed to encourage teamwork, innovation, and creative thinking, challenging students to reimagine everyday architectural materials in a seasonal context. For many participants, this hands-on experience stood out. \u201cMy favourite part was working as a team and seeing our ideas come to life,\u201d shared Omar H., noting that the project felt both educational and fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The warm atmosphere was enhanced by soft drinks and a small live music performance, which added a relaxed and cheerful mood to the gathering. Laughter, conversation, and music filled the space as students and faculty mingled among the installations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, along with several faculty members, who praised the students\u2019 creativity and enthusiasm. Their presence highlighted the faculty\u2019s strong support for extracurricular activities that encourage artistic expression beyond the classroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Christmas Forest concluded as a memorable and inspiring event, successfully blending architectural creativity with holiday spirit and strengthening the sense of community within the faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
