LEFKE The library at European University of Lefke has experienced a significant increase in  student attendance as final exam week approaches. Many students have started spending  long hours in study areas to prepare for their exams and assignments.

According to library staff, the number of students using the library during evening hours has  noticeably increased compared to previous weeks. Study rooms and computer sections have  also become busier, especially during afternoons and nights.

Students from different departments stated that the quiet environment helps them focus  better during the stressful exam period. Some students arrive early in the morning to find  available seats.

“The library becomes very crowded before finals,” said student Doğa Özbaş. “Most students  prefer studying here because it is quieter than dormitories or cafés.”

Library officials said additional seating areas were opened temporarily to meet student  demand. Staff members also reminded students to keep noise levels low and respect shared  study spaces.

Besides printed books, many students are also using digital resources and online academic  databases provided by the university library. Staff reported that online resource usage has  increased in recent weeks.

University students are expected to continue using the library heavily until the end of the  examination period next month.
